Returns & Refunds

Cockatoo Island encourages a considered purchase. Please take the time to ensure your piece will find its place in your home.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges on full-priced items subject to the following conditions:

• Returned within 14 days of receiving your order
• Item is in original condition and original packaging
• Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Cockatoo Island is not liable for parcels lost or damaged in return transit
• Return must be authorised prior to sending. Returns may not be authorised if we believe pieces have been used for staging or loan purposes
  

To Request a Return or Exchange

Email contact@cockatooislandceramics.com with your order number, date of purchase, reason for return and supporting images. If requesting an exchange, include the details of the item you'd like to exchange for.

Refunds

• Change of mind returns are eligible for store credit or exchange only. Refunds are only issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law for faulty or damaged items.
• Refunds are applied to the original payment method minus original and return shipping costs. Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to appear.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to availability and issued as an online credit note valid for 3 years, minus original and return shipping costs.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders cannot be cancelled prior to receiving your order. Pre-ordered pieces are subject to the same return conditions as full-priced items.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, email contact@cockatooislandceramics.com within 48 hours of receiving it with your order number, date of purchase, items damaged and supporting images of both the box and the item.

All claims are assessed individually. Insufficient evidence may result in a claim being rejected.
